“My child went to Villa Montessori in Moline and it was a horrible experience for my child as well as myself. I believe the academics were good for the children, the music and art were great. The level of parent involvement was null. I was very involved. My child however was left to the side and not encouraged to join the group if he/she didn't want to, which I understand is part of the philosophy but should not happen on a continued basis. My experience there lead me to believe that there is no structure and children are raised to do whatever they want during school, which eventually spills into home life. Good luck to anyone that is enrolled there. My child learned more in the first month of public school than in the two years spent there.”
